A realm of adventure awaits at one of Britain’s most iconic castles. The medieval Alnwick Castle  is one of the largest inhabited castles in England. It has been used as a filming location for Downton Abbey and Harry Potter and with Potter-inspired events, dragon quest, exciting history and stunning art there is much to experience.

Adjacent to Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Garden is one of the most exciting contemporary gardens on earth. This stunning attraction and floral wonderland is home to one of the world’s largest wooden treehouses and the infamous Poison Garden. It’s not just for keen horticulturalists either – there’s lots for families to enjoy. Children can play and collect water in the mini tractors, paddle in the rills, see the Serpent Garden and dodge the Grand Cascade’s jets.

Depart Newcastle at 9.30am and travel to Alnwick Garden arrive for approximately 10.30am. Guests will be taken to Alnwick Garden and have free time to explore the gardens.  At 1.15pm guests will be collected and taken to Alnwick Castle where a Broomstick training session has been arranged followed by a guided tour of the state rooms and self-guided walks of the grounds.  Coach will leave Alnwick at 3.30pm returning to Newcastle Civic Centre for 4.30pm.
